It's a challenge for the Australian squad to break new ground.

The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.

This is the squad that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and once went 1,294 days without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, the ones sought by the record chasers, are the only things left for a team that has achieved everything.

It needed up to Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase over 300, reclaiming their record for the largest in the female 50-over format, is, frankly, a testament to the bowlers that have worn canary yellow over the past 50 years.

It's challenging for their batters to hold a record if never given the opportunity.

Finally, the result of Australia allowing 330 runs was leader Alyssa Healy getting a platform to create her latest masterpiece.

Originally famous as the young family member of famous ex Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she made her debut in 2010 after Australia failed to win either of the 20 or 50-over World Cups conducted earlier and has witnessed all through 15 trophy-laden years since.

"To chase 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm pleased we have the belief to do that now," stated Healy further.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it another time but, should it happen, we know we can do it."

Those words will be the last rival teams at this World Cup want to hear.

During the last week a sense they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this success coming after victory over Pakistan by 107 runs despite struggling at 76-7 at a certain moment.
