Parents of a young boy who received severe harm after being thrown from the tenth level of the Tate Modern have revealed their "little knight" has reached his objective of being able to jump, swim, and run again.

The young youngster was six years old when he was pushed off a ledge by a youth, previously seventeen.

The child, who was vacationing with the parents in August 2019 when attacked, survived a 30-meter fall but experienced life-changing harm, including a bleed on the brain and broken bones.

Relatives said in an news on a fundraising page, they were pleased that he had been able to improve with his running, jumping and swimming before his upcoming operation.

"He can't do it like kids his age, of course, but we cannot describe what he does in different terms than by terming it's swimming, running, and jumping."

"It varies, just for a short distance or a low level, but it's an amazing accomplishment."

The child, who endured months in intensive care, has persisted to gain mental stamina.

Parents explained although his memory skills were still very limited, they were functional and improving, so he was "acquiring a basic understanding at his speed, which increasingly enables him to be integrated with other children."

'Mission Accomplished'

Parents noted: "He's also growing up, and due to his sessions with the movement specialist, he currently permits himself to unwind."

"Earlier, to make up for his disability on the left side, he kept his right side always rigid, which caused him discomfort."

"Now, our growing child (we have to face the facts, he's grown up anymore) has understood that he has to allow himself breaks; we have to remind him not as much."

He also achieved a long-term aim with his father: "Since we live a couple of miles from the ocean, they had set their final goal of enjoying a al fresco lunch at the beach and then going home."

"Following multiple gradual preparation efforts, they finally finished their 150-minute journey. They came back exhausted but delighted. Mission accomplished."

Following a court case at the Old Bailey, the youth was convicted of trying to kill and was imprisoned in two thousand twenty for at least 15 years.
